Peer review

A manuscript that has passed the initial screening procedure is forwarded to two independent reviewers, who may or may not be on the editorial board. As experts on the research areas of the submission, they are asked to respond to the following questions and to provide more detailed comments.

  • Does the title of this paper clearly and sufficiently reflect its content?
  • Does the abstract clearly and concisely summarize the research?
  • Is the literature review comprehensive and meaningful?
  • Is the framework and/or methodology appropriate for the research?
  • Is the argument and/or analysis constructed and supported by the data?
  • Does the discussion offer insights that are related to the purpose of the paper?
  • Is the paper well-organized and well-presented?
  • Are the citations and references correct and systematic?

The duration of the review process varies greatly due to many factors such as reviewer availability, volume of submission, etc. However, our editorial team strives to inform the authors of the results within three months after submission.

Please note that it is the author’s responsibility to ensure the revised manuscript is written with good academic English. Your revised articles must be approved by our language editors before it can be accepted for publication.

Production

The author whose submission has been accepted for publication are asked to proofread and format the manuscript according to the journal’s style sheets. Our editorial assistants work together with the author to ensure typographical quality. Starting in 2022, the final article is posted online individually as soon as they are ready so that each volume is no longer organized into multiple issues. Please note that hard copies have been discontinued.
