MANUSYA thanks our previous editor-in-chief and welcomes a new editorial team.

MANUSYA: Journal of Humanities would like to express a deepest gratitude to our outgoing editor-in-chief Prof. Amara Prasithrathsint for her 16 years of tremendous service to our journal and to the humanities research community in Thailand, Southeast Asia, and beyond. Since 1996, our journal has been transformedunder her leadership from a largely domestic journal to a truly international one. In the past few years, we have seen a steady rise in the number of submissions as well as an increase in author diversity. Currently, we are publishing around 20 articles by authors from various countries both inside and outside of Southeast Asia. Furthermore, we are now indexed in various internationally recognized databases including ASEAN Citation Index (ACI), Modern Language Association (MLA), and Scopus. All this could not have possibly happened without her vision and hard work.

MANUSYA would also like to welcome our new editors: Pittayawat Pittayaporn (editor-in-chief), Kanya Watanagun (associate editor) and Treepon Kirdnak (associate editor). The new team is implementing some changes to keep up with the ever changing situation. We apologize for any inconveniences you may experience during this transitional period.

We look forward to your continued interests and support.
